This work was commissioned by Museum Kennemerland. They invited me to make a visual review for the exhibition ‘De Nieuwe Kunst’. The exhibition shows a variety of tapestries by the ‘Koninklijke Tapijtknoperij Kinheim’ and ceramics by ‘Potterie Kennemerland’. Both companies worked with designers who translated and spread the Dutch Art Nouveau and ‘de Stijl’.

My personal inspiration came from these two object from the collection:
- Vaasje modelnr.1, Eelke Snel (Potterie Kennemerland), 1929-1932
- Haardkleed, Frits Spanjaard (Koninklijke Tapijtknoperij Kinheim), 1930
